Mimi Flaunts it All

Have to say: I was super stoked to see Mariah Carey gracing the cover of Shape Magazine! I grew up listening to her unprecedented vocal range and always female envied her hour-glass figure. I mean, her curves parallel Marilyn Monroe! It got me questioning: is society starting to inch away from the love affair with super skinny women?

2 Weeks, 100 Dollars and 2 People

Money and grocery lists

Let’s just say I was ready for pay day! However, on a budget and feeding two people (and one dog) never seems to be a successful one. We always end up cheating somehow: eating out, not eating enough or just picking up a few things from the store during the week. Staying on budget seems impossible! Fit and Safe Pregnancy

There is something special about becoming a regular in a fitness class. You may not know everyone, but your brain does pick up on recurring faces. Today, at my usual spin class, we were really hitting it hard with steep climbs and sprint training. Before and After Pictures

Love this! Listen to how one guy creates his one before and after pictures in a matter of hours. It it great to see a guy that has finally tacked around this subject. Did I say tackle? I meant tip toe. He does try to cover himself legally. I was surprised of his results and how he’s actually funny.

I’ll be playing to nostalgia today because fashion trends of the 80s and 90s reminded me of Jane Fonda VHS tapes and the progression of workouts and workout DVDs in my life. I wonder how many of you had, or have the same videos gathering dust on your shelves right now?
